Learn To Read Tarot - Online Course 2025

Join Melissa Mercury on a six week course to kickstart your tarot journey. An inclusive course for all who want to learn how to read tarot. If you've ever felt that tarot doesn't represent you, or you've been put off by outdated stereotypes, then this is for you! This is a deep dive into the world of tarot that will teach you everything you need to know to start reading tarot for yourself and others with confidence. Re-vamped course for 2025! During this course you’ll work on forming a deep and meaningful connection to your chosen tarot deck and have fun a long the way with a group of like-minded humans. Forget trying to memorise 78 cards and start really working with the imagery of the tarot in a style that works for you. Tarot should be accessible to all and this course will support you, if you have learning differences or need something in an alternative format, please reach out. The course will cover: + The Major Arcana card meanings + The Minor Arcana card meanings + The Court Cards card meanings + Tarot history and traditions - and a little rebellion against some of them! + How to read tarot spreads (a variety of spreads included) + How to read for others + Links between tarot and astrology Each session will be held live over Zoom, 7pm - 9pm GMT on Wednesdays. 8th January - 12th February 2025. Each class will be recorded and uploaded to a share drive. There will be PDF versions of all the key learnings to download along with a mini-library of tarot spreads and optional homework assignments. You will also be invited to join your classmates in a private WhatsApp group to support your studies… and to share tarot memes. The structure of the course is based around the Rider-Waite-Smith tarot deck, but it is encouraged to get a deck that you can relate to, ideally one that is fully illustrated. Good alternative options based on this structure include The Modern Witch Tarot Deck or The Cosmic Slumber Tarot Deck.
